Dr. S.P. Kaushal (born 1953) has done M.B.B.S. in 1976 and later did M.D. in Chinese Herbal Medicine. He has been exploring the role of herbal medicines in the treatment of cancer since 1985 and has already identified more than 450 antimutagenic, immunoenhancing & anticancer herbs. Dr. S.P. Kaushal has extensively toured Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and the Eastern states of India to study the native herbs.
His books "Fight Cancer with Herbs" and "Cancer & Herbs" have been acclaimed worldwide. Dr. S.P. Kaushal has participated in many national and international seminars and symposia. Dr. Kaushal has developed herbal garden and is cultivating herbs since 1991. Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Solan has conferred the degree of "Doctor of Science" on Dr. S.P. Kaushal in 2002 for his outstanding work in the field of medicinal herbs.
